Prof. Jaroslaw Regula M.D., graduated at University Medical School in Warsaw, Poland in 1981. Gastroenterology training completed in 1992. Research fellow at the University College London, UK in 1992-93. Fellow of European Board of Gastroenterology (EUMS). Member of international Editorial Board of Endoscopy journal (1995-2005). Board member of European Association of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (EAGE) since 2003. Member of UEGF General Assembly since 2005. Presently a Professor and Head of the Department of Gastroenterology, Medical Center for Postgraduate Education and Institute of Oncology in Warsaw. Research interests include mainly digestive endoscopy, colorectal cancer screening and Barrett’s oesophagus. Landmark paper: Regula J et al.
